Starting on December 7, 2005 the .eu Registry (EURid) will begin accepting pre-registrations from owners of Trademarks registered in EU countries. For Trademarks registered in other non-EU countries, or Trademarks that have not been registerd, the pre-registration phase will begin on February 7. 2006. Alle other pre-registrations will be first accepted as of April 7, 2006. Additional information is available for our customers in the Control Center my.9na.de.
We will only be offering pre-registrations for our customers, in order to increase your chances of a successful registration. Should you have a registered trademark in an EU country, and have legal residence for yourself or your company in an EU country, you can now send us your pre-registration requests. On our website you can find an example of the request here as well as the necessary form here. Please complete this form and send it to us at eu.domains@9na.de. We will submit all these requests to EURid on December 7th. Afterwards you will receive an order number allow with information about the required documents and where they should be sent. Please note that EURid charges for the pre-registration requests in Sunrise Phase I whether or not the domain can be registered (up to EUR 150). By a successful validation of your rights will the registration charges of EUR 18 also be invoiced.
For the Sunrise Phase II (Feb. 7) and Landrush (April 7) Phases we will implement an online form in our Control Center at the beginning of December. Additional information can be found in our Control Center. If you have any questions over the functions or processes, please do not hesitate to ask.
